The Clarity Phone is the first telephone designed to help those with high-frequency hearing loss, a problem affecting 95% of the hearing impaired. It features a built-in sound equalizer that selectively increases the volume of the high-frequency sounds. For those with high-frequency hearing loss, this effectively replaces the sounds missing, allowing them to hear clearly on the phone again!
The Clarity W1000 features a Certified Minimum Gain of 26dB and a 3.5mm jack for monaural output for assistive listening devices such as telecoil couplers. Also, an automatic amplifier preset/reset button resets the phone to non-amplified mode after hanging up. (It will return to the preset level when the Boost button is pushed.)
