1. What types of phones does the OctiVox Clear
Call work with?
- Analog-line Conference Phones - Clear Call
is optimized to work with conference phones installed on an analog line.
It is compatible with all brands of conference phones - Polycom, Clear
One, Olympia, and Telex.
- Wireless Conference Phones - Clear Call
will work with wireless conference phones. Just connect Clear Call between
the wall and the base unit for the wireless conference phone.
2. What types of phones does the OctiVox Clear
Call NOT work with?
- Analog Two-line Phones - Clear Call can be
installed with a two-line phone but it will only improve the audio
on line one.
- VoIP Phones - Clear Call does NOT work
with VoIP phones since they are part of a digital phone system.
- Digital PBX or Digital Phone Systems -
Clear Call does NOT work with ANY digital phones or digital phone systems.
3. Does Clear Call affect or process any of the
outgoing audio? NO, the outgoing audio is unchanged. Clear Call
fixes incoming audio volume problems.
4. Will it increase the incoming noise level as
well? No, Clear Call uses sophisticated noise-filtering technology
to minimize any noise enhancement during use.
5. How does the Clear Call connect to my
phone? Clear Call easily installs between the jack on the wall and
the phone.
6. How is the Clear Call powered? The
Clear Call is powered by a 110v power supply that plugs into any 110v
outlet. International power supplies are available from OctiVox.
7. Is Clear Call full duplex or half
duplex? Clear Call is full duplex, which means that it works while
two people are talking at the same time. However, if the phone Clear Call
is attached to is only half duplex; the Clear Call will operate in half
duplex mode meaning that people need to take turns speaking as if using a
walkie-talkie.
